Exploration at the New Vulcan Hill Project over the last 4 years has led us to a very high confidence level, that what we have, is a highly mineralized,, valuable Porphyry/Skarn system with great potential. This is backed up by Geophysics and Exceptional Assay results. The areas History dates back to the late 1800’s. This area of Bonner County, once held a population of over 2,000 inhabitants all related to mining in one way or other. Many in the area either were stopping in Lakeview, Idaho (which is just below the NVH Project) as they trekked their way North to Canada, over the mountains to Montana or elsewhere…but many stayed to explore and mine the unique geological structures that surrounded Lakeview. Just down the road from Lakeview, mines such as the Conjecture and Weber and many other mines produced good silver, zinc, lead and gold. The Lakeview area at one time was mined successfully for its abundance of Limestone. So why is it that the New Vulcan Hill system is so unique to the surrounding area? Vulcan Hill shows great evidence of exploration, including an abundance of historical/geological studies and references to the anomalies that make up the New Vulcan Hill claims. Our exploration to date is about adding to previous exploration insights and data by utilizing new methods, science, and even some out of the box methods while maintaining an objective approach. Mapping and sampling accurately sometimes repeatedly in order to verify…is not just an exercise on a check-list, it’s a priority at the New Vulcan Hill Project.
Highlights at the New Vulcan Hill Project (Discussed throughout the Website)
- High Sulphidation Copper/Moly Porphyry System (with other probable additions…Au, W)
- Highly Mineralized Skarn system (Cu, Chalchopyrite, bornite), Ag, W, , Au, , Fe, Pt, Pd, Zn, Pd and etc.)
- Excellent Assay results show higher grades than many cut-off grades of currently active mining operations.
- Alteration zone and skarn (carbonate replacement) lays against a massive deposit of limestone to a reported depth of 2,000ft.
- Excellent visible and accessible outcrops reflecting comparative mineralizations as seen in underground exploration.
- 3 closed tunnels reopened and new abandon Exploration adits which show evidence of not having been explored for well over 50 years.
- Tunnels and dump picks show highly mineralized, deceminated ore with excellent quartz veining throughout.
- Impressive Geophysics data (mag, IP and VLF).
High Grade Copper/Silver the New Vulcan Hill Project
What was missed? Why did they not see the extent of evidence we are seeing? At NVH, the lithology, petrology and other indicators bring us to a high level of confidence that the NVH Project has and extremely high and valuable potential for mining profits?
The Executive Summary found under the About NVH menu will help set the stage for understanding the Geophysics reports, the Geology and hence why we feel confident in stating that we have a valued Porphyry/Skarn system.
NVH PROJECT AND MINING NEWS/ARTICLES

- In tunnel #3 which has significant MoS2 (Molybdenite), we have have also found some nice veins of Zn/Pb & Ag. 310′ in on the right-rib our initial XRF spot checks showed Zn at around 40%, Ag at 3%. That does not include the gangue. In this report, we do a comparison with Lab assay reports with gangue. Obviously the numbers will be smaller but it shows the spot check with the XRF to be accurate….(Read Report More)
- Moly vs Cobalt in Batteries…the winner just might be Mo! {Read More}
- Wallace Miner article from 1952 talks about large Tungsten deposit at the Vulcan Property (The Bureau of Mines confirms) we see that evidence today at NVH and our assays prove the potential for a valuable deposit. {Read More}
