The Exploration and Findings at the New Vulcan Hill Project is how/why we came about as a Company
For several years of prospecting and looking for just the right Project, fortune brought us to New Vulcan Hill in Bonner County, Idaho. Hugh Smith geologist (formerly having worked at several mines in the Silver Valley, Nevada, in Tanzania with Barrick and currently working for Anglo Gold Ashanti) had spent a good amount of time with me looking at different opportunities in both Montana and Idaho. Finally after a year of exploring he took me to a place up in northern Idaho that he had known about for several years. As a matter of fact, he and his father had prospected this particular area for some time and it highly intrigued both of them. As we approached Vulcan Hill on the US Forest Road 278 above North Gold Creek, the smell of sulfur became obvious. We pulled over at the unmistakeable source. It was a cut in the road with a small gated adit almost buried. There was Iron that was weathered, quartz and stained limestone and some nice indications of pyrite. We spent several hour diggings in the cut and as we did, we started pulling out very large, heavy black rocks. They were extremely hard, heavy and sooty. But what we saw when finally broke open the rock was exactly what we hoped to see and beyond what we expected.
