- Question: Has this property been actually mined over its history showing results? Answer: There is a lot of history showing that mining was undertaken in the Lakeview area. On Vulcan Hill, most evidence seen and recorded shows that most of the work was exploration. There are numerous historical records detailing the Geological layout. There is evidence of numerous adits and dumps. There is historical mention that some of the material taken from what is now called the New Vulcan Hill Project was taken in for processing. There are no records found as to the results. There was a huge amount of limestone mined in the area which was shipped and processed by several large companies over many years. There was extensive mining done a few miles from Vulcan Hill with excellent base and precious metal output. However, the NVH system is quite different and reflects a huge potential for valuable and diverse mineralization.
- Question: Do the tunnels recently opened show a failed exploration history? Answer: To the contrary. This is one of the great mysteries and questions that has actually promoted our interest and exploration of the property. In the last 4 years, we have opened three closed adits and found hidden adits which we have and are exploring. And what we have found and uncovered, is an area that shows extremely high mineralized potential. Why others limited their work and did not continue development of the tunnels can only be contributed to a lack of finance and a lack of modern day investigative techniques (Geophysics and etc.).
- Question: Is there any easy access to power at the Project? Answer: There is excellent power at the Project with a major junction box located about 70 feet from tunnel #3.
